Kenya coach Stanley Okumbi has moved to replace the five Gor Mahia players who failed to join Harambee Stars’ camp for Malawi friendly on April 18th in Machakos.

The new call ups are goalkeepers Ian Otieno (AFC Leopards), James Saruni, Brian Birgen (Ulinzi Stars), Victor Majid (Chemelil FC), Victor Ogedo (Nzoia United), Zeka Wakoli (GFE FC) and Shami Mwinyi (Thika United).

They replace Gor’s Boniface Oluoch, Ernest Wendo, Musa Mohammed, Harun Shakava and Kenneth Muguna who are engaged with the club’s duty.

Meanwhile AFC Leopards Paul Kiongera is out injured, Ulinzi Stars’ Omar Bongi has been sent for further military studies and is also unavailable for the tie.

Tusker striker Noah Wafula on the other hand has been given time off to condole with his family following the death of his son.

He will however rejoin the camp later this week. Malawi are expected in the country Sunday 16th at 1820hrs.

The warm-up is not on FIFA day and will only involve home based professionals with an aim of preparing for the CHAN 2018 qualifiers.
