Nigerian striker Osaze Odemwingie has completed his transfer to Indonesia giants, Madura United FC, the club has confirmed.

The former Super Eagles attacker has been on several club’s radar having previously featured for Cardiff, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion FC and becomes the third high profile signing after the duo of Michael Eseien and Carlton Cole to join the Indonesian first divison club.

Madura confirmed that Odemwingie has joined the club through his official twitter handle.

“Welcome Peter Osaze Odemwingie!” and posting a photograph of a club shirt with Odemwingie’s name on it.

No details about contract for 35-year-old Odemwingie have been reveiled but the player was handed the Number 24 jersey yesterday before the club President Achsanul Qosasi and the club manager Haruna Sumitro in an event that was held in Jakarta.
