Onduparaka F.C will have to wait longer for away win after settling for a barren draw against Lweza F.C in Azam Uganda Premier League at Namboole stadium, Tuesday, October 25.

The caterpillars started the match lively, with quick attempts but the Lweza defence was alert to deal with all threats.

In the 20th minute, creative midfielder Ghadafi Wahab brilliantly released skipper Muhammad Shaban who beat defender Musa Docca but the resultant shot went straight into the hands of Lweza custodian Brian Bwete.

Minutes later, Lweza dazzling winger Yasir Mugume took on the caterpillars left back Zeey and the resultant cross was well met by dangerous striker Hassan Kikoyo whose header went just inches wide.

The visitors badly pressed for an opener but were denied by match referee Alex Muhabi sighting offsides on skipper Muhammad Shaban.

The real match opportunity then came minutes later when Gadinho Gadafi brilliantly beat Lweza left back Fred Nkata and the resultant cross was missed by Ceasar Okhuti.

In the second half, the caterpillars again started on a high note with consistent attacks but Musa Docca and Sulaiman Bagonza were alert to quickly tame danger man Muhammad Shaban.

The Kajjansi based side also got some chances most of them going off target.

The caterpillars head coach Livingstone Mbabazi later made changes bringing on Agau Rashid for Ceasar Okhuti in hunt for a goal but still the Lweza defence and goalkeeper Brian Bwete stood firm to deal with all threats especially from the corners.

Minutes later Lweza also made changes bringing on talented midfielder Owen Kasule to activate more their creativity department so as to ensure more communication between midfield and strikers led by Hassan Kikoyo and Karim Nduggwa.

With four minutes of added time, both sides looked tired until the centre referee Alex Muhabi blew the final whistle with both sides sharing the spoils at 0-0.

The result means Lweza FC have now accumulated 12points from eleven matches while Onduparaka have 14points from ten matches.
