Onduparaka FC inspirational midfielder Gadafi Wahab will miss the rest of this year with ankle injury.
Wahab was substituted in Onduparaka’s previous match against Proline FC in the Azam Uganda premier league at Betway Green Light stadium which ended 1-1.
According to reports from the Arua based side, the midfielder damaged his ankle and will have to rest until next year.
It’s believed that the former Kibuli SS, Kitende SS and St.Juliana SS student suffered this injury last season while in the FUFA Big League Finals against Jinja Kiriinya SS at Nakivubo stadium and since then he has been playing with it.
The injury means “Thiago Alcantara” as called by his comrades will miss the remaining fixtures of the first round including their next match against Vipers SC. on 15th November.
