Kenya’s representative to the 2016 CAF Champions League Gor Mahia, managed to add just one name, that of striker Jacob Keli to the initial 20-man list presented to the continental body by the close of payed deadline of January 15.
Keli who was a late catch by K’Ogalo from Zambian side Nkana FC will now be eligible to play in the preliminaries against CNAPS of Madagascar in February.
Gor’s first assistant Secretary General Ronald Ngala confirmed this to Soka25east.com. He also added that they could not submit the name of Rwanda captain Jacques Tuyisenge who recently joined the “Green Army” from Police FC as he is still representing Amavubi in the CHAN tournament which starts today in Rwanda.
The last payed window for making any amendments to the list will be on January 31, the names submitted then will only be eligible to play at the group stages of the competition.
