By Ronnie Lusurile,

Lweza FC ware recently fined 300,000 Ugandan money for failing to control their fans when they played Proline FC in a league match at Phillip Omondi Stadium.

The hooligans threw stones onto the pitch stopping the game for over ten minutes.

Everyone thought the punishment would act as deterrent, it was not.

Tuesday, October 11, when Lweza hosted Sadolin paints at Muteesa II stadium wankulukuku, Lweza fans again made headlines – beating the visitors’ fans as seen in the image as captured by our team.

WHAT CAUSED THIS DEADLY CHAOS?

In an interview with one of Lweza fans, he said that before the start of the game, a section of Sadolin fans tried to access the stadium forcefully without paying entrance fees which were pegged at 5000 Ugandan money for ordinary and 10000 VIP.

The worrying trend by Lweza thungs, will surely scare away a lot of fans from coming to the stadium and most definitely drive away potential sponsors.

FUFA under the league competitions committe should apply more punitive measures including; docking of points and playing behind closed doors to overcome the vice.
