Zambian stopper Kennedy Mweene is definitely one of the greatest goalkeepers in the history of Zambian Football.
However, his situation at Mamelodi Sundowns leaves much to be desired.
The 33 year old has only 47 appearances for Sundowns under his belt since joining from Free State Stars in 2013.
With the good performance of Zanaco goalkeeper Toster Nsabata at the 2018 Total African Nations Championship, his position could be under threat.
Mweene needs to get more game time to secure his position with the Chipolopolo.
A loan back to a top Zambian club like Buildcon, or Lusaka Dynamos in the next transfer window wouldn’t be a bad choice for Mweene.
Despite his age Mweene still has 3 more years to play.
