Orlando Pirates have announce the signing of Caio Marcelo from Nova Iguacu Football club in Brazil.
The signing of Brazilian defender was concluded on the final day of the transfer window on Friday last week.
Caio who was spotted in Pirates recent Project X trip in Brazil will join his new teammates this week after impressing technical staff during the Pre season break .
The club had been weighing up their final foreign registration spot for the Absa Premiership 2018/19 season and finally decided on the Brazilian centre back.

The 20 year old was also previously on loan at Serie A side Vasco da Gama is set to strengthen the central defence .
Pirates next match is against Supersport United on September 15 at Orlando Stadium kickoff (20:15) pm due to the international window this week where Bafana Bafana are facing Libya in a 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier in Durban on Saturday.
