Palos FC Coach Paul Ogai has praised his side for a good show despite 4-2 loss to Gor Mahia in a Kenya Cup “GoTV Shield” match played on Wednesday 14 at Kasarani, admitting they were up against a superior side.
The Kisumu City based outfit plays their football in Kenya’s third tier league.
“The match was good, I’m happy my boys gave their best, and as you know we were up against Kenyan league champions. My players are still growing and I’m very happy they managed to score two beautiful goals,” Paul said.
He however bemoaned lack of experience for easy goals they conceded and the many chances chances they failed to burry saying he will carry the lessons learnt into league matches ahead.
“We created many scoring chances but we didn’t fully utilize them, it shows you the superiority of our opponent and the different levels we play our football because they easily punished us.” He added.
