KPL Coach of the year,Paul Nkata has left Tusker FC to join Bandari FC as club head coach.
The news about the Ugandan tactician move to the Mombasa based side broke on Thursday evening ending speculations after he reffered to himself as ‘Johnie Walker’ in his acceptance speech as coach of the year at the awards gala held on Tuesday 13th December 2016.
Paul Nkata joined Tusker at the start of 2016 having moved from Muhoroni FC, leading the club to Kenyan Premier League title and the Gotv Shield.
Bandari FC ended the season in 11th position on 37 points under Ken Odhiambo after the sacking of Twahir Muhiddin who led them to Gotv Shoeld in 2015.
Our efforts to reach Tusker and Bandari officials have been unfruitful though reliable information from the football body indicate that they have received a letter from Bandari indicating the change in the club’s coaching department.
The fate of coach Ken Odhiambo remains unknown.
