DSTV Premiership side Orlando Pirates have sent young Zambian forward Austin Muwowo on loan to Moroka Swallows.
Pirates announced on their website that the 24-year old has joined Swallows on a season long loan for the upcoming 2021/22 season.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that it has reached an agreement with Moroka Swallows for the services of Austin Muwowo on a season-long loan for the upcoming 2021/22 season,” read a statement from the club.
“The Zambian international who spent the past two seasons with the Buccaneers will be joined by new signing Monnapule Saleng who will gain valuable first-team experience with the Dube Birds in the upcoming campaign.’
Muwowo has struggled to break into the main team only making 1 appearance since joining Buccaneers in 2019.
He has been capped 3 times for the Senior Zambia National Team scoring one goal in the process.
