Kenya International forward Stephen Waruru says he is excited to have been voted Ulinzi Stars player of the months of May and June 2017.

A happy Waruru in an interview on the club’s official website expressed his delight at the award and thanked his team-mates and coaching crew.

“It is such a great honor to be recognized especially in a team that has very good players like Ulinzi. I can say I have been scoring the goals because of very good team work and I want to thank my fellow players,” Waruru noted.

He added; “I am very pleased and this will now spur me to work harder and score more goals. This season as a team we have to do something and everyone is working hard for that. It is not easy but we are ready to battle.

Waruru has proved to be the best stikers and so far he has scored 10 goals this season.The award was conjoined for both months as there was only one match played in June.
