Police,Rayon and APR sail through in the Rwandan Peace Cup

Rayon Sports beat Division two side SEC Academy 6-0 in a one sided match played at the Kicukiro Stadium to qualify for  the quarter finals of the Peace Cup.

Burundian import Pierrot Kwizera scored a sensational hat trick with captain Fuadi Ndayisenga and Djabel Imanishimana completing the rout.

Rayon sports will meet Rubavu based side Enticelles FC in the last eight.

In the other match Army outfit APR easily dismissed Division two side Bugesera 4-0 at the Ferwafa Grounds.

Michael Ndahinduka scored early in the first,Issa Bigirimana and Central defender Abdul Rwatubyaye each  scored to put APR 3 goals up.

Herve Rugwiro completed the route with the fourth goal in injury time to book a date with Gicumbi FC

Elsewherwe,Innocent Habyarimano scored the winning goal in the second half as Police FC beat Sunrise FC 2-1.

Idisbandi Nshati scored early in the match to put the law makers ahead before Jean d’ Amon Bonare drew level to give hope ro the Rwamajana side.

However Innocent ‘s goal sealed the  victory for Andre Cassa Mbungo’s side effectively sending them to the last 8 and setting a date with Kyovu SC in what will be a fearce quarterfinal battle .

Elsewhere Police FC have signed immediate former Rayon Sports midfielder Robert Ndaimana on a 2 yr deal .
This is the fifth signing for Policw and according to Club spokeaman Jean Dieu Mayira.the Rwanda U23 international who is only 20 yrs put pen to paper

“We have signed him along with other 3 players because they fit very well into our structure and future plans.They are all relatively young and we hope they can add more strength.

Others players signed by coach Andre Cassa include Isonfa duo of striker Danny Usengimana ,centre back Hakim Tuyisenge and Abense Neza of Igonga
