Polokwane City head coach Luc Eymael has expressed his disappointment at the draw against Golden Arrows home to Kenyan international Clifford Miheso.
Speaking exclusively to Soka25east.com, the Belgian tactician feels that his side was unlucky not to garner home the three maximum despite his charges displaying a great performance in the match.
“We played a very nice game against a good team, we played very nice football, good ball position, good movement with the ball, good ball distribution, we scored 2 very nice goals, we deserved it from nice combinations but unfortunately we conceded also 3 goals from individual mistakes and it’s a little bit frustrating.”
The former AFC Leopards coach also lamented on his side’s lapses in concentration in the final stages of their matches which he believes, if that had been avoided they would be leading the South African top tier league by now.
“Unfortunately we are the masters in losing 2 points in the last minute of the game, it’s the fourth time this has happened to Polokwane City, with this 8 points that we have lost in the last minutes of the game, we certainly should have been the number one now.”
