Portuguese Duarte Miguel Jorge da Costa was on Tuesday unveiled as Vipers SC new coach.
The new coach will seek to get the best out of the venoms playing unit which has struggled in the local league on a three year deal.
“We are happy to welcome Jorge Da Costa to the Vipers Sports club family, he will the head coach starting immediately,” said Vipers club president upon unveiling the new coach to the media.
Da Costa will face his first test when he meets Platinum Stars of South Africa in CAF Confederations Cup first round fixture.
He takes charge from caretaker coach Richard Wasswa who steered the team to current third position having collected 32 points from 19 matches played.
Wasswa and Edward Golola will now take charge as his assistants at the Kitende based side.
