The 2011 MTN/FAZ Premier League Champions Power Dynamos who are in the Northern part of Zambia yesterday beat two local teams as part of their preparation for the new season.
The team is in Mansa where they played two preparation games at Kaole Stadium.Luwingu District Commissioner was also in attendance and took to the field before the start of the second match to show off his football skills.
The Kitwe giants are preparing for the new MTN/FAZ Premier league Season that will start any time in February.They played the first game at 13:00hrs against Kasama United who they beat 4-0.
Martin Phiri scored one goal
and Govenda Simwala scored from the free kick position.Enock Mwepu had a brace to make it 4 goals.
In the second match Powerful Power Dynamos Football Club massacred Lwansase Football Club of Luwingu 12 -1
in the match played at Kaole Stadium in Mansa.
2011 Zambia Soccer League Golden Boot winner Luka Lungu scored 6 goals in the match.Martin Phiri grabbed a Hatrick with new Signing Laurent Muma getting a brace and
Lawrence Chungu scoring the other goal.
Power Dynamos have won the League six times and are third on the most leagues log tied with Zanaco,Kabwe Warriors and Green Buffaloes football Club.They won their last title in 2011. Abayellow as they are popularly known are eager to get a 7th title to Arthur Davies stadium.
