Placed at position 8 on the log with 15 points is consistent with Ushuru’s targets at the beginning of the season but the same cannot be said of City Stars who continue languishing at the lower reaches of the KPL table.
Second from bottom with 6 points and only one win after 11 rounds, they are already facing relegation at this early stage of the season.

However, their recent draws against Muhoroni on the road and Sofapaka at home gives them confidence going into this tie. Better still is the fact that they have kept clean sheets in their last two games.
Paul Nkata’s biggest worry is his misfiring frontline who last found the net in April when they beat KCB 3-1 at Nyayo Stadium.
His opposite number, Ken Kenyatta will look to bag a win and ascend to the top half of the table given that his side enjoy a 100% record against the Kawangware based outfit.
Last season, Ushuru reaped six points against them with Barrack Odhiambo and Mohammed Hassan masterminding the 3-1 win in the second leg with a goal apiece. The first leg tie ended in a 2-1 win for the taxmen.
