A tough contest awaits Kenya U-17 when they face South Africa this afternoon starting at 12 pm in the first semi final match on the on-going Cosafa U17 championship in Mauritius.
Kenya who made it to the semi finals after Cosafa ruling that kicked out Zambia due to age cheating have a mounting to climb if the past two painful defeats still haunts them.If there is one team that has shown the guile to leap to top of the southern region its the Amajimbos something Stars coach Andreas Spier must be well aware.
Stars at this time need to utilize the scoring chances they will have because they are now in the knock out round.Best good thing is all the players who did duty aganist Madagascar and Malawi are available without any injuries and will be ready for battle.
The Molefi Nteski coached side have yet to concede a goal in the competition but they will need to contain pressure and perform to the expectation of their fans.If they maintain their form then they will be a very tough side to beat more especially in this afternoon game.
The young Stars side will have to keep a close eye on the likes of Simiso Bophela,Tyeserre Pillay and Mokoena who have proved the dangerous players for the South Africa team.
After the Kenya -South Africa tie, Malawi and Namibia will battle it for a spot in the finals.
