Egypt will take on Mozambique in their first game of the Group stages of the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday.
The hosts will be enjoying home support as they aim to win another continental crown and to book a ticket to the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
However, Mozambique will look to spoil the House party for the Young Pharaohs.
They will return to the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations seeking to improve on their performance after their debut two years go in Mauritania.
They finished strongly in qualifying from the COSAFA region losing narrowly to Zambia in the final.
They suffered a group stage exit in their debut AFCON participation in Mauritania, but the Cosafa runners-up will come better prepared for the Egyptians.
Key Players
Arab Contractors defender Omar Fayed is one of the star defenders in the team and coach Mahmoud Gaber will be counting on him to protect his goal.

Swift midfielders Keyns Abdala of LD Maputo, José Zavala of Black Bulls, and Djwa Ramos who plies for Portuguese side FC Torrente will be expected to key for Mozambique.
