Simba Sports Club are the Tanzania Vodacom League champions witout kicking a ball
Their five year wait was over today as Tanzania Prisons did the work in Mbeya
Simba’s triumph came after Tanzania Prisons beat defending champions Young Africans 2-0 in a rescheduled league match played at the Sokoine Memorial stadium in Mbeya
Simba earlier needed a draw in their next match to be crowned champions but Yanga loss means the Msimbazi giants are the new champions
Yanga will effectively miss next years continentals unless they win the CAF Confederations cup .
