Former Uganda Cranes forward and Proline football club director Mujib Kasule paid a courtesy visit to Ugandan born forward Ibra Sekajja when his Dulwich Hamlet side was taking on Merstham FC on Tuesday night in the Ryman league premier division at Moatside stadium to persuade him choose Uganda over England and Sierra Leone.

Kasule left Uganda on Sunday evening to go witness the current eye catching displays of the on form forward and also try to persuade him play for Uganda at a time the Cranes are in search of an already exposed striker after the retirement of Geofrey Massa who was the leading striker.

Sekajja, 24 holds duo citizenship of both England and Uganda is still undecided on which nation to play for and was recently approached by the Sierra Leone Football Association which requested him to play for them a major reason Kasule visited and persuaded him to put his mother country Uganda as the first option.

Recently Sekajja’s former teammate at Crystal Palace Wilfred Zaha was in such a situation with both England and Ivory Coast at stake and decided to play for his mother country Ivory Coast after a series of persuasions from Ivory Coast legendary icon Didier Drogba.

In the match played on Tuesday night, Sekajja came on as a second half substitute replacing Dumebi Dumaka in the 60th minute and brought new life in the match with silky touches and runs which saw him getting involved in the fourth goal Dulwich scored in the 80th through Michael Chambers.
