Proline FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 win over Kirinya-Jinja SSS in a closely contested league match played at the Phillip Omondi Stadium,Lugogo.

After a goalless first half ,Nelson Senkatuka, broke the deadlock slotting home from the edge of the area in the 53th minute.

Left back Mukisa Yusuf fed Senkatuka with a nice pass and proceeded to drill home his shot amidst confusion in the schoolboys ranks.

This was Proline second win of the season after fighting to nine draws and three loses in the fourteen league matches they have played this season.

On the pitch it was a tale of missed chances as both sides spurned numerous scoring chances. At the half hour mark marauding winger David Owori broke into a run on the right wing to unleash a fierce drive which missed the target.

Proline continued to press forward and a minute later Edrrisa Lubega was on the prowl as he dribbled his way from a tight position on the right wing but quick reaction of Kirinya-Jinja defender saved the day.

Edward Kakembo stood out for Kirinya-Jinja with his dazzling foot work.

In Arua, hosts Onduparaka FC paid the price for over confidence  when they were held to a one all draw by BUL FC in a entertaining match played at Betway Stadium.

The caterpillars were a goal down in the sixteenth minute when Yunus Sibira silenced the boisterous home fans after connecting a super cross from the evergreen Bul workhorse, Walulya

The goal appeared to disorient the hosts who lost their footing and struggled to stamp their authority in the match.

Their reliable attacking force of Mohammed Shaban and Gadaffi Wahab were kept at bay by the resolute Bul backline marshalled by Magombe.

Fifteen minutes later, Onduparaka equalized in the 26th minute when Rashid Toha capitalized on a defensive mix-up to score in the empty net.

At Kavumba Recreational Grounds Express FC shocked hosts Soana FC with a 2-1 win. Juma Saddam and Noah Ssemakula were in red hot form grabbing the two goals for the Red Eagles with Osman Wenjuli scoring an equalizer.

At Wankulukuku Lweza FC secured a 1-0 win aganist Police FC.

After a bright start, the visitors went behind to a well-worked goal – Owen Kasule on target.

The second half was fairly even with minimal action coming from both teams.The first half goal was enough ensure victory for the home side.

The rest of the matches ended in draws with JMC Hippos being held by the visiting Bright Stars to a barren draw at Kakindu Stadium.

In Mehta Stadium SC Villa played host to URA where the game ended in a 2– 2 draw.Sam Sekito sloted home a nice goal for the home side in the 11th minutes before his team mates lost concentration withAmbrose Kirya scoring four minutes later.

Jimmy Kulaba scored for the tax collectors in the dying minutes to secure a draw for home side twenty minutes after Martin Kizza had registering their name on the score sheets for the visitors.

The Saint managed a 1 – 1 draw with Vipers SC in Bombo Barracks with Ezekiel Katende scoring his first goal for the home side on the 19th minitues whereas Vipers who were playing under a caretaker coach got an ewualizer on 70th minute when Tony Oduor scored a well taken penalty to the dissapointment of home fans.
