Sports kit manufacturer Puma has launched the official match ball of the Kenya Premier League 2015 season.The ball,aptly named ‘Puma KPL elite 1’ is a hand-stitched piece of artwork put together from 32 panels with equal surface areas for reduced seam stress and near perfect round shape.
The ball bears logos of KPL and Tusker on it.”We are delighted to announce today that Puma will be the official ball sponsor for the 2015 season”,said KPL CEO Jack Oguda.
Puma has been the official ball sponsor of the KPL since 2012.
Oliver Wirth,Puma’s General Manager for East Africa and Middle East pointed out the brand significance,”Puma has a long standing history with Africa and African football and is privileged to be official ball sponsor of KPL”,he observed.
This comes barely three weeks before the anticipated season kickoff.
The ball will be available to buy at retail at selected Nairobi Sports House stores.
