ZONE TWO
Zambia has four Zones in Division One that have a total number of 16 teams in each and one team from each Zone will have to top the zone to make it to the elite league which is year in year out becoming lucrative.
We are heading to Week 27 of Division One football and the logs in every zone are shaping up with fans anxiously waiting to see if their favorite teams will make it to the Super League.

We start with ZONE TWO
Three teams are in for promotion fight with only one expected to be the victor
ROAN UNITED
Roan United have an outside chance and will have to win all their remaining games and hoping Konkola Blades and Kitwe United end the season badly. They are currently four points behind Kitwe United and three behind Konkola Blades but Blades have played one game less.
I know Roan United fans are still hopeful but I think it will be too much to ask of Roan to top this zone after week 30. That trip away to Kitwe United is tough and they may as well get three points at home to Copperbelt Buffaloes but the rest won’t be easy fixtures against Kalulushi Modern Stars away and Bresmar in Solwezi.

MY THOUGHT: ROAN WILL HAVE TO WAIT FOR ANOTHER SEASON.

KONKOLA BLADES
They have five games to play and are only behind with a point from Kitwe United. Blades will beat ZESCO Solwezi at home, Chambishi FC at home but Gomes will be a tough one even when they will be at home. But overall their promotion is tightly on the two away games to FQMO in Solwezi and Chingola Police Blue Stars

5. Gomes (Home)
This one is tough to predict but that game away to Solwezi is for me what will give Blades momentum. Something is telling me they will drop points on the road and that won’t be goo d for the race to the Super League. They will also need to improve goal difference against Kitwe United because it is possible these two teams may finish on the same points.
MY THOUGHT: QUITE PAINFUL FOR THE BLADES BUT I THINK THEY WONT MAKE IT.

KITWE UNITED
They beat Blades home and way already an d just those results for me Kitwe United deserve to play Super League in 2017. They have been consistent and good results have come their way because of that hard work.
They lead the table which will change on Saturday because Blades will beat Chambishi. Kitwe United have three tough away fixtures and even their home game against Roan United won’t be easy. For me their fate will be away to Gomes and should they beat Gomes away, then we should start thinking of Kitwe United in the Super League of course it will depend more on Blades.

These are the fixtures but I think they have gained enough experience to handle away games but we have to wait and see.
