Opposition leader Raila Odinga travels to Tanzania to cheer Gor Mahia Football Club in the CECAFA finals against Azam.
Raila is the patron of the Club. He was in Tanzania with the club at the start if the tournament where he gave the team a personal donation of $4000.
Raila will be accompanied to Tanzania by Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho and Suna East MP Junet Mohammed.
Speaking earlier today, Raila said he is confident will win the contest by “a respectable magine”.
“I want to assure Gor Mahia that the entire Kenyan Nation supports them. I am confident they will live up to expectations and bring the cup home,” Raila said.
He congratulated the coach and the technical bench for the “inspiring and outstanding performance that must end with the lifting of the trophy.”
Joho, on his part said he has a pact with the club should they win the trophy.
“I have a deal with Gor and they will see it when they bring the trophy home,” the Mombasa Governor said.
