RS Berkane further added to Raja Casablanca’s Caf Confederations Cup woes as the two teams played out to a 0-0 draw at Stade Municipal de Berkane on Sunday evening.
The result leaves the defending champions on three points from four matches and bottom of Group A with two rounds of group stage fixtures remaining.
Following a 4-2 defeat in Rabat to the same opponents last weekend, the Green Eagles headed to Berkane in search of revenge, but they failed in their attempt to register a first win of the campaign.
The Oranges duly move up to eight points in the group and on the cusp of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition with the visit of Congolese club Otôho d’Oyo to follow in seven days time.
Raja next face the third Moroccan club in the group Hassania Agadir on the 10th of March in what is now a must win game for last year’s champions.
