MTN/FAZ super League side Red Arrows have appointed former Chipolopolo head coach Honor Janza as their head coach. The club confirmed the development on their official Facebook page on friday.
Zambia Air Force, the sponsors of Red Arrows Football Club approved a two year contract for Janza after approval from the Football Association of Zambia as he was serving as National team Technical Director
Janza will be assisted by Chisi Mbewe and Songwe Chalwe as first and second assistant respectively while kalililo Kakonje maintains his position as goal keeper coach.
Janza has been entrusted with the heavy task of repositioning the team where it belongs as a great team to reckon with. It is further expected that Arrows under his charge shall perform well and finish within the top four bracket or better win a silverware. The contract runs for two seasons, the 2017 and 2018 football Calendar.
Janza has been given a go ahead to look for four players to strengthen the team in any department of his choice. Meanwhile, all is set for pre-season training. All the players have reported for training at Nkoloma ahead of a pre-season camp in Livingstone. The camp is expected to be held between 29 January and 15 February.
