As they set camping in Spain
Great work by the Exco of Red Arrows for the enormous work exhibited in the preseason. One laudable decision by the club is separating the club from the service by opening doors to foreign players. It’s a new direction our clubs are taking and it is actually helping football in the country.
Zambian players are good but the chase for the quality ones is becoming a serious nightmare for some clubs, hence pipping elsewhere is now the solution.
Let me not digest my thought for today. While Red Arrows has done so much this preseason, I feel the title is beyond their reach. The chunk of players going to Europe are the same players that were playing for the team during the 2017 season with a lot lacking.
The trip to Europe will be a major boost to players but that demand from the commander to win the title, is far fetched and if it will be the yard stick then I see big disappointment.
Other teams have strengthened more than Red Arrows and it will even be too much to ask for Arrows to finish in the top four.
Without a doubt Janza will do the very best and he will continue improving this team but reality awesome this team in the top eight.
The team on the trip to Europe is as below:
Ian Otieno
Danny Munyao
Kenny Mumbai
Jimmy Chisenga
Elvis Bissong
Charles Siyingwa
Derrick Mwansa
Joseph Zimba
George Simbayambaya
George Mandu
Paul Katema
Stainly Nshimbi
Evans Musonda
Bruce Musakanya
Chisenga Lukwembe
Ben Chepeshi
Dominic Yobe
Daniel Sibanda
Justin Zulu
Chrispin Sakulanda
Ssekamate Samuel
Josphat Kasusu
Joseph Phiri
Andrew Tolowa
All the best Team Arrows playing the people’s game.
