Morocco coach Herve Renard has announced his Atlas Lions squad for the encounters against Malawi and Argentina in March featuring Zamalek striker Khalid Boutaib while omitting Al Ahly’s Walid Azarou.
Morocco have already sealed qualification to Africa Cup of Nations 2019 after collecting 10 points from five rounds in Group B where they compete against Cameroon, Comoros and Malawi.
Boutaib has been named in Morocco’s squad for their final game in the qualifiers against Malawi before facing Argentina in an international friendly on March 26. The 31-year-old striker joined Zamalek in the January window and has two goals to his name in five games in the Egyptian Premier League.
Meanwhile, Azarou has just came back from a long absence due to injury and was, as expected, did not receive a call from Renard for the March camp.
