Ethiopian Premier League weekend saw superb football action across the country with league leaders Dedebit falling 1-0 away from home to second placed Mekelakeya(Defense) in a water tight game that was the highlight of the grueling weekend .
Kedus Giorgis(St.George) showed purpose as they managed a well fought 2-0 win over Sidama Bunna to firmly remain patched among the top three having played four matches won and drawn two to stand at five points 7 shy off League leaders Dedebit.
Ethiopia Bunna caused a major upset crushing Arba Minch Kenema 3-1 in a one sided affair while Woldyna Kenema,Mebrat Hayl and Dashen Birra also notching deserved wins.
The battle for survival saw Woldya Kenma stumble again losing 1-2 to Awassa Kenema as they remained rooted at the bottom of the table with only four points having played five matches won none and drew two conceding many goals.
Arba Minch Kenema are also languishing in the lower reaches of the league suffering a humiliating 3-1 loss to Bunna.Minch are second from the bottom having played five matches won none .
Welatya Minch are 12th on the league table despite a deserved 3-2 win over Adama Kenema over the weekend .
