received_1787350661506764A half past noon as I head to the theatre of today’s much talked about big game between hosts Uganda and Comoros in the AFCON 2017 final day qualifiers, and the mood is simply awesome!!

From Mengo an estate a stone throw away from the capital Kampala near Makerere University where I have been putting up since Friday through to the central business district along the way to Chireka and finally Namboole, the streets are painted red, yellow and black, the national colors of Uganda Cranes.

The air is filled with hope anxiety and excitement all in one mixture. “Boda boda” is the preferred mode of transport to beat traffic that had started to build as almost every single passing one is carrying one or two fans blowing their vuvuzelas.

Below are some of the moments captured by our camera man.
