Equity Bank has given Tanzania’s Taifa Stars a financial boost worth USD 10,000 ahead of their tough tie against Algeria in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifier on Saturday 14.
According to @Soka_Tanzania the regional financial firm which has it’s roots in Kenya has always supported Tanzanian football.
The team which is currently camping in South Africa will also have no accommodation headache as Serena Hotel – Dar Es Salaam has offered 40 of them a five star treatment for five days worth USD 10,000 on their return home for the much anticipated clash.
Meanwhile Stars’ Saturday opponent the Desert Warriors are expected to land in Dar on Thursday 14.
The match will be officiated by Mali officials.
