Kenya’s Harambee Stars coach Bobby Williamson has called up four additional players, all from Kenyan Premier League to join initial 20 man team preparing for FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mauritius.
The four includes Nakuru All Stars sensation John Ndirangu, Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava and Chemelil FC duo of Meshak Karani and Stephen Wakhanya.
Confirming the latest development to Soka25east.com, Stars’ assistant coach Musa “Otero” Otieno said the four will join the rest of the local based pros today for the first training session at Ruaraka Grounds from 10AM.
He clarified that the team will not be using the Moi Sports Center Kasarani since the facility has been fully booked for the Safaricom 7s international Rugby tournament.
The team departs for Mauritius on Sunday 4, foreign based pros including, skipper Victor Wanyama of Suthermpton FC, Zambia based defender David Owino of Zesco United, keeper Arnold Origi of Lillestrom in Belgium among others, will link up with the team on Monday 5 after this weekend’s league matches in their respective countries.
