Malawi Flames head coach Ernest Mtawali has recalled Big Bullets forward Chiukepo Msowoya to boost the striking force after the striker was left out in the squad that lost 2-0 to Tanzania Taifa stars in Dar es Salaam.
This according to Mtawali who is under pressure,the recal was meant to boost the striking force ahead of the 2nd leg which the Flames must beat Tanzania by more than two goals without reply.
Msowoya was ruled out following an harmstring injury he sustained in a league match.
Flames who dominated the match in Dar es Salaam has faced a lot of criticism from the fans in social media terming the coach as biased and turning the National team to a one club affair.
Also recalled to national team is Azam Tigers midfielder Yamikani Chester and rumours has it that Mtawali is considering drafting in Silver Srikers Wonder Jereman.
Mtawali has also faced Critism from renowned Sports commentetors like Steve Liwewe Banda who termed his decision to drop Chiukepo as misguided and a big flop while another football analyst Humphrey Mvula echoed Liwewe Banda’s words saying the coach has to change his mentality.
Malawi which has failed to win their last two matches including a friendly match against Swaziland will play Tanzania tomorrowin Blantyre.
