Uganda cranes recorded one of the best performances so far in their history of World Cup qualifiers after crushing Togo 3-0 to proceed 4-0 in aggregate.
Uganda started on a high and captain Geoffrey Massa scored from a distance in the 4th minute.
Togo pressed for an equalizer but the Cranes were up to task.
SC Vipers danger man Farouk Miya scored the second in the 41st minutes before adding his second and third for Uganda four minutes later.
The cranes commanded a 3-0 HT lead but had a rare set back when Ugandan midfield maestro Khalid Aucho was substituted after sustaing a muscle and Geoffrey Kizito replaced him.
Uganda joins Gabon and Zambia in the last round.
Zambia beat Sudan 2-0 with goals from lubambo Musonda in the 59th minutes and Winston Kalengo 81st minute strike.They qualify after a 3-0 aggregate win.
