Togo head coach Tom Saintfiet has named a team of 23 players ahead of 2018 FIFA World Cup second round qualifier against Uganda Cranes on Thursday 12 at Kegue Stadium, Lome.
The team boasts predominantly foreign based pros with just a handful home based professionals.
They include Tanzania based defender Vicent Bossou of Yanga SC, midfielder Serge Gakpe of Genoa, Italy and strikers Jonathan Ayite of Alanyaspor in Turkey and Calmaldine Abraw of Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa.
Still missing is former skipper Emmanuel Adebayor who has not been actively playing since June and remains club less after being released by Tottenham of England.
The return leg of the match will be played 3 days later in Uganda on Sunday 15 – aggregate winner moves to the group stage of the qualifiers.
