East Africa has been blowing hot and cold and dearly missed out in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hosted by Equitorial Guinea and won by Cote D Voire.
The scenario has also replicated itself in the lastest Coca Cola FIFA Rankings released on the 12th March 2015.
Rwanda is the biggest performer rising 8 places up to be the highest ranked East African country which placed them 64th globally a great achievement despite being disqualified from the 2015 Afcon.\
Uganda are second in E,Africa shooting 2 places up to 74th while Ethiopia stagnated at 102nd followed by Tanzania at 107th globally.
Sudan follow closely at 110th while Kenya dropped two places down to fall at 118th globally .New entrants South Sudan show some improvement moving one place up to 188th while Eritrea fell at 201 with Somalia moving to 204 and lastly Djibouti at 206.
The Cecafa region has performed dismally in 2013 a move that has elicited various reactions .
