Football players are used to being mobbed by the press and fans but for 2012 BBC African Footballer of the year it’s a different story as he is being mobbed by fellow players who are want to take photos with the chipolopolo captain at the on going Chan in Rwanda.
Chipolopolo skipper Chris Katongo has continued to be mobbed by players from opposing teams who cannot resist the chance to meet the 2012 AFCON winner.
The latest was at the Gorillas Golf Hot in Kigali which Chipolopolo is sharing with Niger.Nigerian players came out in numbers to pose photographs with the Zambia skipper.
The inspirational Katongo who has been nicknamed ”Captain Fantastic” scored the only goal as Zambia beat the Cranes of Uganda on Saturday.Chipolopolo who are already through to the quarter finals play their final group D match on Wednesday against Mali.
