Guinea started the game with some good free flowing football with a high tempo which made it had for the Copper Bullets. Both teams where cautious with no clear cut chances created in the first half.Guinea came close with a header which went over the bar before Katongo could retaliate with his going wide.
In the second half Zambia seemed to have rediscovered their free flowing football and made some good chances but lack of a good passing in the final third and some awful runs in the 18 yard earlier costed them.
Sankhon came close with two great free kicks ,one saved by Jacob and the other by the post.Katongo scored in the 86th minute but was wrongfully ruled for off-side.The match ended 0-0 both in regulation time and extra time.
