Rwandan forward Jacques Tuyisenge has made it clear that he would love to join Kenyan Premier champions Gor Mahia.
Speaking to “Mchakamchaka”, a local magazine show which airs on pay television station Supersport, the Police FC striker said he has heard a lot about ‘K’Ogalo” from his fellow countrymen who turn out for the most decorated Kenyan club and he wouldn’t have a second thought if a chance to join them presents itself.
“Yes, I would be very happy to play along side Meddie Kagere at Gor Mahia. Kagere is a good player, we played together at Police and he scores a lot of goals,” elated Tuyisenge said.
Gor is home to two Rwandans, left full back Abouba Sibomana and striker Meddie Kagere.
“They tell me a lot about Gor – it is a good team which I would love to join so that I can play in the Kenyan Premier League.”
The 24 year old goal poacher is among the top scorers at the ongoing CECAFA Senior Challenge in Ethiopia – he boasts four goal thus far. He scored a penalty in the 5-3 Rwandan win over Kenya in the quarterfinals which was decided by spot kicks on Tuesday 1 where he was also voted man of the match.
With his continued fine form for country in the regional showpiece, Jacques is likely to attract a lot of interests across the region.
