Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has picked up the Premier League player of the month of August following impressive goal scoring start to the new season.

The Senegalese star scored twice in each of the Jurgen Klopp’s coached side 2017/2018 Premier League fixtures.

His rythm comes back after a career threatening injury which rules him out last season.

Mane scored his first of the season in the opening day 3-3 draw with Watford.He also scored the only goal of Liverpool 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

In the Anfield clash aganist Arsenal,Mane was at it again helping Liverpool silence gunners by a 4-0 margin.

Mane beat off stiff competition from Phil Jones,Romelu Lukaku,Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Alvaro Morata,Jonas Lossl and Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.

August award was Mane’s first as Premier League Player of the Month since switching to England from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg three seasons ago.
