Nkana football club has elevated cpach Aggrey Chiyangi to the position of Technical director . Chiyangi’s former position of head coach will now be filled by Assistant coach and club legend Zeddy Saileti .The club announced through a press release posted on their official Facebook page.
Billy mwanza another former Kalampa player has been elevated from Nkana youth coach to assistant as he joins Gift Kampamba as Saileti’s assistants.
Club Chairman Evalisto Kabila siad the move was part the positive changes the club was making after confucting a postmortem. Nkana ended last on third on the log and will be looking to do better and challenge for silverware.

“NKANA APPOINTS CHIYANGI AS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, SAILETI IS NEW HEAD COACH
(15th January, 2017, Kitwe) Nkana Football Club has elevated Head Coach Aggrey Chiyangi to position of Club Technical Director and has appointed his assistant Zeddy Saileti as Head Coach.
Saileti will be assisted by Gift Kampamba and Billy Mwanza who has moved from the youth team. Kennedy Kalale continues as goalkeeper trainer.
Saileti who takes the mantle from Chiyangi, has been a player for Nkana FC, played professional football in Finland and he has been assistant coach to, Linos Makwaza, late Masauso Mwale and Bestone Chambeshi
Club President Everisto Kabila confirmed the development stating that this was part of the process of repositioning the club towards achieving better team performance in 2017 and beyond.
Kabila explained: “Like we had promised, the Club Executive and Technical bench at the end of the 2016 season carried out a postmortem and identified areas of improvements.
This is part of the plan to fix, manage these short comings and plot a stronger come back. Our mission in 2017 is to win silverware.”
“I therefore, on behalf of the Executive Committee wish to take this opportunity to congratulate both Zeddy and Aggrey on their new roles,” Kabila said.
The Nkana Football Club President urged all stakeholders such the players, technical bench and supporters to give the two maximum support in this crusade to once again take the club to the pinnacle of Zambian football.
