Fashion Sakala was on target once more as Zanaco beat Green Buffaloes by a goal to nil at Independence Stadium in a week six rescheduled match played on Wednesday 15 June 2016.
Sakala found the back of the net in the 32nd minute to help Zanaco open up a three point lead at the summit of the Zambian Super Division with 31 points from 14 matches played.
The striker has now scored 7 goals in the last 12 matches for the Bankers.
Meanwhile, Green Buffaloes still find themselves in 4th position despite the loss with 25 points and are tied with defending Champions Zesco United who have played two games less.
In another fixture, it ended goalless between Red Arrows and Nchanga Rangers at Nkoloma Stadium.
The week 12 result has no effect on the position of both teams with Nchanga Rangers staying in 10th position on 20 points while Red Arrows are in 13th position with 16 points.
