Ethiopian prolific striker Salhadin “Sala” Said’s brace helped lift Wadi Degla past new comers Minya 3-1 in the Egyptian Premier League on Sunday.
The 25-year goal poacher broke the deadlock in the 28th minute before Mohab Said doubled the lead in the 63rd minute.
Ayman Hassanein pulled one back for Minya in the 78th minute, but Said killed any hopes of a comeback with a late goal deep in injury time to notch in his fantastic brace.
Salhadin Said has been Wadi Degla’s main striker and the man looked upon for the goals .His impressive form has won him admiration from the passionate fans in Egypt.
Wadi Degla are now third in Group B with 18 points after 11 games and they still have a game in hand.
