By Ronnie Lusurile,

Police F.C coach Sam Timbe has resigned less than 24 hours after losing 3-0 away to champions KCCA FC in Azam Uganda premier league at Philip Omondi stadium.

It is believed the club’s continued poor performance forced the decorated tactician to throw in the towel.

Police FC are currently fifteenth on the log with seven points, out of sixteen teams.

The three time CECAFA champion with Sports Club Villa, Police FC and Atracco FC missed out on the AFC Leopards job after the Kenyan side appointed British coach Stewart Hall formerly at Tanzanian giants Azam FC.

It’s not yet certain where Timbe will be heading next, but as usual we shall keep you posted.
