The Zambian Soccer season Officially Opens on 12th march this year,But The Curtain raiser will take center stage today at Nkoloma Stadium.The Samuel ”Zoom” Ndhlovu Charity is a 4 team Competition that starts at Semi-final stage with the winners playing the final and the winner of the final being crowned Champions.
The competition was started in 1967 and was re-named in 2003.Nkana have won the competition a record 15 times.Zesco United are the Defending Champions after they beat Powerful Power Dynamos 2-1 last year in the final.
Nkoloma will hold the double header which will see Zanaco and GBFC do battle in the early Kickoff before Power Dynamos and Zesco United can square off.
