Gambia will lock-horns with Morocco on Thursday 23rd before facing Central Africa Republic four days later in build-up matches in Morocco.

Due to the aforementioned, the head coach of the Scorpions Sang Dong has moved to name a 23-man squad today to start preparations in earnest.

The predominantly foreign-based squad boasts a good number of players from Europe, Africa and Asia.

They include KRC Genk 24-year-old defender Omar Colley, Leads United’s (England) Modou Barrou and FUS Rabat’s (Morocco) Yusapha Njie.

Only three players namely Alagie Nyabally (Real de Banjul), John Bass (Brikama United), and Sainey Sambou have been fished from the local league.
