12 Time League Champions Nkana this Afternoon beat Lusaka Tigers 3-0 to continue piling pressure on log leaders Zanaco. Nkana have now moved to 44 points , 8 adrift of log leaders Sensational Zanaco.
Nkana came into the match on the back of a great away win in Kabwe while their opponents lost their last match at home to Green Buffaloes.With these fortunes Nkana seemed to be the team with the advantage and rightfully so as they came out victors after 90 minutes.
Nkana Suffered an early set back with the injury of Talisman Walter Bwalya who finished the game but was limping though out the second half. Tshimenga Soutra was substituted cause of an injury scare and is being monitored. This was however not going to stop the much determined Nkalampa side. Soutra Shimenga opened The scoring in the 21st minute for the hosts to send Nkana Stadium into a frenzy.
The first half ended with Nkana Leading 1-0. Donashano Malama was substituted early into the second half with an injury concern and veteran Defender Joseph Musonda replaced him.The Best moment of the match was in the 56th minute as Ronald Sate Sate Kampamba also known as Landlord scored barely second into the match to make it 2-0.
This is sate sate’s first goal for Nkana since returning to Nkana from Egypt. Kampamba is the fan favourite and regarded as one of the most loved player playing their trade in the loacal league.
It was all Nkana from their on wards and they notched in a 3rd courtesy of Jacob Ngulube to seal the 3 points for the Kitwe giants.
