Proline FC rallied to pick a point in a 1-1 draw against Sadolin FC in Azam Uganda Premier League match Tuesday, October 18, at Bugembe Stadium, Jinja.

The game that barely had close chances in the first half saw both teams come back for the last 45 minutes with an open game mind.

Sadolin FC drew the first blood in the 75th minutes through a Nomarn Ojik’s beautifully taken shot after receiving a long through ball that found Proline’s centre backs flat footed, before putting it past helpless keeper Saidi Keni.

The goal sent the home fans into a frenzy, but it was for a while as Proline recharged in just 50 seconds after restart to level terms through a Savio Kabugo’s moment of brilliance in the air deep inside the goal keeper’s area.

His run on the far post on the right met a well laid Simon Namwaja’s cross from the left to head home in the 76th minute – scoring his first goal for his childhood team.

With the draw,Proline FC remain in the 11th position with 11 points; 8 points behind SC Vipers who sit on top of the league log standings with a game at hand.

In the other games or the evening,SC Vipers edged league debutants Jinja Kiranya SS 1-0 at Nakivubo Stadium; URA FC humbled Saints 2-0 away from home, while and JMC Hippos FC took home a point away at Green Light Stadium in Arua against BetWay sponsored Onduparaka FC in 1-1 stalemate.
