Young Senegalese goalkeeper Ibrahima Sy has ended a search for a new club by penning a deal with Championnat de France Amateur 2
side Vannes OC.
The French club confirmed the capture of the 21-year-old former Olymique de Marseille gloveseman on Monday afternoon, following the approval of manager Laurent Herve.
Sy journey as a goalkeeper picked when he joined Olympique de Marseille at the age of 16, where he had the opportunity to play a few CFA 2 and three UEFA Youth League games for three seasons in the Marseille.
He then joined FC Lorient in 2014 where he later signed his first professional contract few months after his arrival.
Sly was Senegal’s first choice at the 2013 World U-20 World Cup in where the Young Lions of Teranga were eliminated in semifinals by Brazil.
